The Independent Redress Mechanism (IRM) – the independent accountability mechanism of the GCF – addresses complaints from GCF project-affected people and provides remedy in a fair, effective and transparent manner. Along with the IRM, the Asia Indigenous Peoples Network on Extractive Industries and Energy (AIPNEE) will organize an awareness-raising webinar on GCF, Indigenous Peoples and grievance redress. The webinar will be targeted for Indigenous Peoples of Asia, with a focus on community representatives from GCF-funded project areas, and Indigenous defenders, including women and youth.
